How to avoid
being deceived
by Satan’s
masterpiece!

Not a Christian invention.

The idea of an antichrist, or an enemy of God being prominently involved in earthly affairs
is not a Christian invention found exclusively in the New Testament.  The concept was
seen by the Ancient Jewish prophets (Torah; Old Testament), Jewish Apocalyptic Writings,
the Talmudists,  and in many literatures of medieval and modern day writings.

In the Old Testament, and other writings that preceded the advent of Jesus Christ, the man is
referred, most often, to "Belial" meaning an enemy of God.  He is also seen frequently as a
“beast”. The Jewish prophet Daniel describes a great heathen empire (7:7-8).

The word "antichrist" occurs only in 1Joh 2:18,22; 4:3; 2Joh 1:7, but the idea which the word
conveys appears frequently in Scripture..  In most 21st Century Christian writings, the man
who is to come is simply referred to as “antichrist”.

Scriptures provide no essence of time regarding antichrist’s arrival on the planet.   The only
time elements is that he will arrive (most likely) at the beginning of the last 7 years allocated
by God to the Jews (see our discussion, Daniel 9).  We do know that when he arrives, the
world will be in political chaos, and on the verge of economical collapse.  It will be a time
when the people of the world will urgently be seeking peace, prosperity and leadership.
While it is interesting that these worldly conditions exist as this is being written
(June, 2011) when we have arrived at a climatic junction in global history.  These existing
conditions, in no way, represent a suggestion that the arrival of the antichrist is imminent.
World conditions today may or may not be a simple coincidence.

What to expect when he arrives

He will arrive with little fanfare, but will quickly arise to global fame as he promptly solves
complex global problems (see our October, 2011 update).  An early act will be
to bring peace to the Middle East. Something no world leader has been able to
accomplish in the past 60+ years.  The people of Israel will be so impressed with the
antichrist that they will enter into a 7 year security agreement  guaranteeing the security
of the nation’s borders.

After resolving political issues in the Middle East, he will turn to providing unique solutions
to complex world economic problems.  The world will be amazed.

The antichrist will appear to be a normal human being except he will be notably attractive
and will radiate great sums of personal charm.

His rise in popularity will be so swift and powerful that in a very short time span, he will
become the world’s last dictator.

Why the world will promptly embrace the antichrist:

The people of the world, today, are looking for three things:

(1) Peace, (2) prosperity and l(3) leadership.

It is not a co-incidence that the Bible points to a man, who is going to appear on earth in a
frame of major chaos and confusion offering to the world thee things: (1) Peace, (2)
prosperity and (3) leadership.
***************

Satan’s finest creation

The antichrist will be Satan’s finest creation; he will be an absolute master of deception
and falsehoods. endowed with amazing spiritual abilities.

Many of us have been fooled into seeing Satan as having two horns, a tail, a red suit and a
pitchfork. In fact Satan is the most alluring, wooing, delightful, delectable, and most sought
after of all of the things in human life. The antichrist will be just like him according to scriptures.

His attributes

Here are some attributes, based upon the Biblical presentation, to look for when the
antichrist arrives:

1. intellectually superior with superhuman wisdom

2.   politically astute

3. an economist of the highest order

4. a politician of shrewd and cunning skillfulness

5. at first, a special friend of the Jewish people

6. versatile in his political gifts

7. a accomplished flatterer

8. a superb strategist

9.  will possess the genius of Nebuchadnezzar, Xerxes, Darius,
Alexander, Caesar, and Napoleon

10. will be endowed with an irresistible and fascinating personality

The antichrist’s promise will be: If you follow me, and I will bring you the peace and the
prosperity that the nations cry for.

He will appear with the credentials of never varying success. There is something
about mankind that worships success, whether in sports, money, politics, or other
areas of human endeavor. The world’s ultimate and final dictator will be a man of
unvarying success.  And that will result in his being embraced by the
people of the world.

Rise to power

He will very quickly become the world’s dictator and then begin to reveal his
true nasty nature by imposing harsh treatment upon the people.  For example,
he will require all of his followers to wear his mark (number) which is 666.
This mark must be permamently shown on a person’s forehead in order to
engage in any form of commerce be it buying or selling.   He will increase
his demands that people worship him.  At one point the will go to Jerusalem
and declare himself to be God demanding that the entire world worship him.
Jesus calls this the “abomination of desolation” which will immediately trigger
the Great Tribulation bringing God’s judgment upon the human race.

His hatred for Christians will emerge and he will cause many of them to be slain.
While their temporary bodies rot on earth, their eternal spirits (souls) will be in he
aven under the protection of God (Revelation 6:9)
